We believe in individual investment strategies for each and every client. We believe in strong fundamental investment strategies backed by intellectual calculated proof. We understand how crucial correct planning is for any investment decision, and therefore we put a lot of effort into consistently delivering the most suitable investment strategy for our clients and executing it meticulously and conscientiously.
What distinguishes us from other institutions is the way we make investment decisions specifically regarding portfolio construction. Most investment strategies are built around two drivers of variables when it comes to portfolio construction, namely asset class allocation and the past performance of funds. We use a model which was developed in-house over the past 3 year, by Van du Preez. In this model we investigate the nature of funds, and the way they interact with one another in a portfolio situation.
We are concerned about the “true risk” of funds and of the effect they have when seen in combination such as in a portfolio as well as the precise performance against the overall market. We use integrate calculations to assist us with the investment decision and portfolio construction. We measure the proposed portfolio with many different calculations, all playing a very crucial part.
